Historic Win at Super Bowl 51 as Patriots def. Falcons in OT 34-28

...I am exhausted. I was on the edge of my seat last night. Well, in my mind I was. I was quiet the entire game, except for the Halftime show; I used that time to grab some food & stuff...so yeah, that's what I thought about that part.

In the most epic comeback in pro football ever, the New England Patriots did even for them I thought would be nearly impossible, by coming back from a 3-28 deficit in just the 4th Quarter to not only send Super Bowl LI into overtime, making it the first ever Super Bowl to do so, but by moving down the field in the first possession of OT to win and defeat the Atlanta Falcons 34-28.

In spectacular fashion, TB2 perhaps in about 20 minutes not only gained what has to be the sweetest redemption ever, but proved that he, in fact, without question is the greatest quarterback in NFL history. This win gives Brady his 5th SB championship ring, surpassing the great Joe Montana, gives him his 7th appearance in the Super Bowl and pretty much establishes him as the G.O.A.T. Not only him, but head coach Bill Belichik also cemented his legacy, becoming the winningest head coach in NFL history, with his 7th SB appearance and surpassing Vince Lombardi with the most SB wins as a head coach, now with 5. But this win did not come easy.

In what looked to be a total shut-out and domination, Matt Ryan and the Falcons immediately put the Pats on notice, going up 21-3 at the half, with amazing showings from their defense, accumulating 2 sacks on Brady and even completing a Pick-6, intercepting a pass in their own territory returning it for a TD by Robert Alford with just 2:36 left in the first half.

I mean, they held the Pats to only a field goal in the first half. It looked like a massacre and the stats didn't lie; the entire game, the Falcons averaged 9.6 yds per play, while the Pats only a mere 2.5 yds.

Coming out for the 2nd half, we knew Belichik had put it to his team in the locker room, yet 'Matty Ice' continued to freeze New England, driving down the field at the top of the 3rd, going 84 yards, ending with a 6-yard TD pass to Tevin Coleman, making it 28-3.

...WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND THOUGHT THE PATS HAD A CHANCE???

I myself, was just about ready to go to bed, considering that no team down over 10 points has ever come back to win the Super Bowl, much less 19+ points down, the record for that was 93-0.

Sounds like a Goldberg streak, right? But then......TB2 showed up. I mean, remember, this is New England we're talking about. That game was not over until the clock hit 0:00. With 9:44 left in the game, the Pats scored a touchdown but missed the field goal, making it 28-12. Now, we got a game. Over 5 minutes left in regulation? And you're playing Brady? Yeah, time to put up or shut up.

Looks like they got shut up, as Ryan was sacked and the Pats recovered AND scored AND converted for 2 points. Now it's 28-20.

What did Brady do? With the help of "Gronk 2" & "Gronk 3", Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola, the Pats drove down, scored and got another 2 point conversion.

WELCOME TO OVERTIME.

Coin toss. Heads. Pats received. Brady did his thing. GAME OVER.

The biggest comeback ever, bigger than John Cena kicking out at 2 after everyone on the roster hitter their finisher on him in the same match.

The New England Patriots earned this win, and without question, Tom Brady is indeed the John Cena, Michael Jordan, or just simply: THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME. Congrats, New England.
