NIKE Presents 2017 Black History Month collection

We knew it was only a matter of time, and now we have official info and images from the Swoosh, as NIKE is revealing their 2017 Black History Month collection.
Starting from just an Air Force One to now a full line-up of models, the BHM collection from NIKE every year takes on a significant meaning and is featured with much craftsmanship and detail to tie in the heritage of African Americans.
Especially with the news of Mike Parker, CEO at NIKE taking a stand against the recent Muslim bans by Donald Trump (I just can't move myself to ever give him the title of POTUS), this collection should definitely come with more importance, not just for descendants but for all people of color.
With a total of 10 silhouettes in this BHM collection, utilizing 7 models, NIKE continues the tradition of celebrating Black history in sports and beyond.
Models such as the LeBron 14, Kyrie 3 & KD 9 are all sporting mainly black and white contrast with marble details across the shoes, signifying the unity and collaborative movements for equality and justice in the Black communities across the nation. The same detailing can be found on the Air Force 1 options, including the midsole & outsole of the AF1 High and the entire AF1 Low Womens' variation, as well as the NikeCourt Flare, the signature model of Serena Williams, who just broke the Grand Slam record of the Open era, clinching her 24th win against her sister Venus at the Australian Open.
The final model, being the LunarEpic Flyknit also incorporates the marble design in the entire upper of the shoe, playing into the Flyknit.
