PUMA Presents the 'Legacy Collection' for Black History Month
PUMA is next up in the world of sneakers to release a collection dedicated to the African-American culture, and the month-long celebration of Black History, with there "Legacy Collection", including three silhouettes: The Clyde, Ignite evoKNIT & Sky High II.
This particular collection not only gives a tribute to BHM, but specifically pays homage to the Atlanta-based Howard High School, the school where one of PUMA's influencers Walt "Clyde" Frazier attended, as well as Civil Rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. The shoes all offer a mixture of blue and gold colors, the colors of the David T. Howard High Rams.
Apparel is also included in this collection, including socks, shirts and duffel bags. And, soon after news broke of this collection from PUMA, I am pleased to announce that Atlanta is indeed in the talks of repurposing the old high school for the Grady community of overcrowded middle schools. There is still hope in the Fourth Ward.
Look for this collection to release at all PUMA retailers and online on tomorrow, February 2nd.
