Following suit to their previous Chinese New Year collection releases at the top of every year, Three Stripes prepares to yet again deliver to us new silhouettes to pay homage to the 2017 Chinese New Year sign, the Rooster.
Those who coincide with the year are predicted by ancient Chinese horoscope to have a year full of change, love & unlucky times and should be prepared for whatever comes. Though, there's nothing unlucky about this release from the Trefoil.
As with last year's CNY 'Year of The Monkey' release, adidas will be dropping three models from their line all in similar design cues and elements. This time around the models include the Tubular Radial, the Superstar and the Stan Smith.
Keeping in tune with this year's zodiac theme, all three models come sporting black leather along with feathered detailing on the heel, to resemble that of a certain bird, or poultry for lack of a better term. All 3 models also include a multicolored Rooster graphic at the heel, with patterned insoles featuring adidas branding & various Chinese markings.
You can probably expect this collection to drop around the same time last year's did, which was the 28th of January. But, just stay tuned to the site as we'll provide the actual release date & pricing when they are given. Check out more shots from this CNY collection below.
