Well, well, well what do we have here? Looks like the legendary New Balance family has decided to up the ante' a bit with their next scheduled release. NB is known for comfort, sustainability & price, three things that are all priority in the world of footwear. And they don't tend to stray away from the successful formula with their newest model, the 247.
Coined the '247' to tie in with living life to the fullest 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, this model has the perfect blend of modern style & quality craftsmanship and heritage NB is known worldwide for, taking cues from the past & paying homage to their retro runners like the iconic 574, the 998, & the runner's runner the 1300, while presenting upfront traits that the current trend of sneakers have come to be known for.
A full-grain leather upper with asymmetrical perforation on the toe box, the Luxe edition showcases evolution of the NB family, along with a stretchy synthetic nubuck sock construction for that foot hugger feel most brands are currently applying. The 247 Luxe is release in three colorways: Tan, White & Black full uppers, all sitting on a cream REVlite sole with tan detailing.
Set at $120, NB somehow continues to find that perfect balance between style & being affordable, providing the most bang for your buck......'nu'buck (see what I did there?)
There is also an exclusive "Family & Friends" edition (seriously, who isn't making a F&F edition of anything these days?!?) in a beautiful grey suede & teal color, reminiscent of an Asics, all while being packaged in a lux hemp bag with booklet & grey suede passport booklet, cause of course, you need to live it up: 24/7. But, alas, this exclusive version is only available in 247 pairs.
So, ring in 2017 without burning holes & your pockets & get up on New Balance. I'm pretty sure that this won't be their first seat at the cool kids table.
